Oakhaven is a referral service for homeowners who need flooring work. When you tell us about your project, we match you with an independent, local flooring installer who serves your area and handles your type of job. The pro contacts you directly, inspects the work, and provides a written estimate.
What we look for in a pro
- Licensed where required and insured. Installers carry current liability insurance and any license their state or city requires.
- Proper prep, every time. Moisture testing, leveling, and acclimation. The unglamorous steps that make floors last.
- Clear, written quotes. Materials, square footage, prep, removal, and trim are itemized before work begins.
- Respect for your home. Dust control, protected surfaces, and a clean jobsite at the end of each day.
How we’re paid
Oakhaven is free for homeowners. Contractors in our network may pay us a fee when we connect them with a homeowner. That fee never changes the price you’re quoted, and you are never obligated to hire anyone.
