Restore instead of replace
A full refinish sands the floor down to bare wood, removes scratches and old finish, and applies new stain and protective coats. You can change the color completely, from honey oak to a modern natural or dark tone.
For floors in good shape with only surface wear, a “screen and recoat” (buff and new topcoat) costs much less and takes about a day.
